The 16th edition of Marintec South America/Navalshore has been moved to August 16-18, 2022. The current health scenario in the country and in the world are the reasons that led the organization to choose not to hold the event in August 2021, as originally planned.
As of the next edition, the fair will be renamed Navalshore, its original name from 2004 to 2011, when it adopted the name Marintec South America – Navalshore.
In a statement, the filmmakers emphasize that an event of this size and with a large audience requires security conditions that will hardly be achieved in the second half of the year. “We pondered the responsibility of holding the Marinetec South America/Navalshore next August. In our country, information on the vaccination program to combat Covid-19 changes day by day, which creates uncertainty about the effective conditions to ensure the necessary health security for an event open to large audiences in the second half of the year” , says the statement.
Held since 2004, the fair attracts exhibitors and visitors from Brazil and abroad, and in the current scenario, insecurity goes beyond the borders of Brazil.

The note follows: “Our objective is to provide exhibitors and visitors from the country and abroad with a suitable environment for doing business, networking, debates and disseminating technological innovations in the marine and offshore industry.
“In this sense, we responsibly decided to transfer the 16th edition of the event, which would be held from August 10 to 12, 2021.
“The 16th edition of the fair and conference will be held from August 16 to 18, 2022, at the SulAmérica Convention Center, in Rio de Janeiro.
“We also communicate that the traditional meeting point for the naval/offshore sector is once again called Navalshore. This change has been scheduled since 2019 and completes the corporate transition of the fair and conference.
“We would like to thank our exhibitors for the support they received in making the decision. We will meet in 2022 with renewed breath and many new things.”
