Atlântico Sul, established in 2005 as a milestone in the revitalization of the shipbuilding industry in Brazil, is located in the Industrial Complex of Suape/PE, while strategically positioned in the center of the international shipping routes, between the Brazilian pre-salt fields and the Gulf of Mexico.

EAS, an ethical company that values Safety, Quality, Productivity and Delivery, is always seeking to improve its products and services, and over the last decade, has been focusing on building large ships, consolidating its position in the shipbuilding industry, delivering 15 oil carriers, 10 of which are Suezmax and 5 Aframax, in addition to the integration of modules for the P-62 platform and the construction of a lower hull for the P-55 platform. A new journey has begun in 2020. Since then EAS has diversified its business model and has expanded its operations, this time in the ship repair market becoming recognized as a reference for its customers.

Due to all its installed manufacturing capacity, potential, and facilities, EAS has established in 2022 a new business unit focused on the construction of offshore steel structures, addition to launching itself as an option in the manufacturing process of towers and foundations for wind power generation, as well as dismantling of ships and platforms.
